Movies for French Immersion students

Who doesn’t love a movie day?! I know I do! But how do we know what movies for French immersion students are appropriate for our kiddos? We don’t have time to pre-watch 5 movies to then pick the best one. Or at least I don’t… ain’t nobody got time for that!

I have compiled a list of movies that are appropriate (content and language) for middle-school French Immersion students. Some of these movies may be available on Netflix, YouTube, Amazon, etc.

Grade 5 French Immersion

Noémie: Le secret

La mystérieuse Mademoiselle C.

Mission Yéti

* Scenes with mild nudity

I hope you find something here that interests you and your students.

Of course, please look into the film (themes, rating, etc.) before deciding if it is right for your kiddos. These are simply my suggestions based on the demographic of my kiddos.
